
Course Content
ALGEBRA AND FUNCTIONS: Algebraic division, factor theorem, remainder theorem.
COORDINATE GEOMETRY: Circles.
SEQUENCES AND SERIES: Geometric series, binomial series for positive integer n.
TRIGONOMETRY: Sine and cosines rules, area of a triangle, radian measure, sine, cosine and tangent functions (including graphs), use of trig. formulae, simple trig. equations.
EXPONENTIALS AND LOGARITHMS: Exponentials functions and graphs, laws of logarithms, solution of a^x = b.
DIFFERENTIATION: Application of differentiation to maxima, minima, stationary points and increasing and decreasing functions.
INTEGRATION: Definite integrals, area under a curve, trapezium rule.
